    Just a thought, the education that do have, you should try put it into Associate Degree. You will be glad that you did.
    There is a field called Health Technology Administrator. You might get some type of paper for all your troubles.

    BTW, most transcription services require for a part time MT to produce 5000 characters per week and a full time MT to produce 10,000 characters per week. Rates of pay and production requirements vary by company. 20,000 X $.07 = $1400/2 wk period.

    Not a problem. Transcriptionists are paid for production. The more you produce the more you get paid. For some transcription services the rate of pay is 7 cents per line. A line consists of 35 characters. Which means that one word is considered one character.

    As you may know, Career Step partners with a lot of transcription companies. You will have to visit one of these companies and apply with them in efforts of being hired. A couple of companies will even ask if you’re a graduate of Career Step. Check out Career Step’s homepage for the list of MT companies. Good luck to you with your future endeavors.

    Hi Cynthia. I just wanted to say hi to a fellow Career Step graduate. I finished the course in the beginning of March 2008 and had a job by the end of that same month. Career Step is certainly a great course and I absolutely love being an MT. Career Step was the best investment I have ever made. Thanks for the video.
