Just type in Medical Transcription salary and you will find SOMETHING…..it may or may not be accurate depending on where you live and since you will just be starting off.
It doesn’t pay very well. Around here (Arkansas and Tennessee) the average is 25,000 annually before taxes.
medical Transcriptionists always have work and a chit load of it. But for the amount of work you will be doing and the time you will have to put in it is not worth it. BUT it will be your decision to make and either regret or be happy. References :

depends on what area ya live in some places pay more than others
